Brief Description of Research Interest:
 

Using human pluripotent stem cells to understand how epigenetic regulation control human cardiac and hematopoietic development. 


In the future, I will dedicate myself to stem cell biology and focus on cardiovascular disease model. With strong background in both hematopoiesis and cardiogenesis fields, as well as multiple models, I am planning to decipher how environmental risk factors affect cardiovascular disease through epigenetic regulation. These studies are not only important for understanding the molecular basis of human cardiovascular development but may also facilitate stem cell-based therapies to regenerate and repair injured cardiac tissues
